In what has been a generation-defining year, Diesel invites people – the world over – to celebrate the beautiful memories made in lieu of the plans that had to be put on hold and wear these unexpected highlights with pride. For all the trips, events, parties, plans, ceremonies that could not take place in 2020, we are finding the opportunity to tell the surprise stories, the connections that were made, the fun that was had, and the positive silver linings.
The intention is to commemorate what we could not do and the memory-making moments that ensued in the absence of those plans. A birthday party called off? Celebrate it by remembering it. A surf trip postponed? Diesel will also be partnering with different cancelled events, like the Untold Festival, one of the most renowned music festivals in the world, to create a series of limited-edition denim trousers called the 2020 Fallen Edition.

Growing up on four continents, as the daughter of a former Indian Ambassador, I’ve seen a remarkable array of historic places and met a myriad people. My aim is to bring my world view into this website, a curation of what I find particularly stunning, unique, and newsworthy.

A bit about me:
A luxury and fashion journalist with 25 years of experience in publishing and magazine journalism, I have edited some of India’s top fashion and luxury magazines. I got my BA in Comparative Literature from UC Berkeley, and went on to receive my Master’s in English and French from the University of Strasbourg, France. I have also studied German and Film. I live in Gurugram, India, and look forward to once again exploring our world with a new-found freedom.
