Italian megaluxury brand Visionnaire has introduced three natural stone top products in collaboration with renowned Italian brand Antolini, that are protected by the revolutionary Azerocare process. These three creations, designed by Alessandro La Spada are made in natural Antolini stone, which includes the Kobol wellness unit, that features Dover white marble, while the Leonardo wellness unit is clad in black and white Dalmatian marble. “The collaboration with Antolini is a long standing partnership which began in early 2000 and has grown closer with every passing year,” says Elenore Cavalli, art director, Visionnaire, from Bologna, Italy. “We select the most beautiful marble and precious stones such as agate, onyx, quatre saisons, amazonite and other precious stones.” And now, these precious stone surfaces can be protected from daily wear and tear thanks to the patented process used by Antolini – Azerocare. “Antolini uses the special Azerocare process to protect the marble,” says Cavalli of this technique, which guarantees permanent protection against stains and corrosion caused by surface contact with acidic organic substances (with a pH from 3 to 8). Made exclusively at the Antolini production units, Azerocare provides a barrier against damage from wine, coffee, oil, vinegar, tomato sauce, fruit juice, as well as perfume, toothpaste, detergent, lotions, and eau de toilette. The process makes surfaces non-permeable, avoiding the proliferation of bacteria. Nature stone with Azerocare technology are simple to clean – as a matter of fact, water, neutral soap, and a simple non-abrasive damp cloth are enough.Leonardo Wellness unit by Visionnaire
Asked whether Azerocare is available for other Visionnaire products, Cavalli replies: “At this stage the process is available only on three types of marble – Dalmatian, which was introduced last year, and this year features in the new Leonardo bath unit. The Dover white marble has been introduced this year (novelties 2020) presented on the iconic award-winning Kobol bath unit and the exquisite black and gold marble (novelties 2020) is presented on the iconic Kerwan dining table.”Kerwan dining table by Visionnaire
“In Visionnaire, we have found a perfect interpreter of the inspiration and expressive potential of our natural stones,” says Alberto Antolini, CEO of Antolini. “We are proud of this new partnership which - we hope - will have further evolutions in the future, opening the way to more and more surprising and ambitious goals and destinations. In particular, it is an honour for us that a brand like Visionnaire has appreciated, in addition to the uniqueness and refinement of the natural stones we propose, also the revolutionary capacity of our Azerocare license.” Moreover, Antolini’s technology is as eco-friendly as it is effective – this process does not produce any emissions into the atmosphere, nor does it generate processing waste. A winsome combo.
Lifestyle Insider is a kind of junction point, connecting people with diverse interests that touch on the more luxurious aspects of lifestyle – fashion, design, travel, food and spirits, art, watches and jewellery, cars, yachts, and aviation, and technology. People today don’t fit into boxes and categories. In our individual ways, we are interested in diverse themes, products, and the challenges that face our world today. You will judge how well this effort of mine caters to your passions and proclivities.
Lifestyle Insider is a showcase of all that is beautiful and luxe. Behind every creation, is a designer, chef, entrepreneur, or a design maison. I have delved into my own appreciation for objetsde luxe that I have admired over the years – be it a love of fashion from the world’s top Parisian and Italian fashion maisons and their ’90s muses, or the care that goes into sari and Indian textile collections in my own family. Growing up on four continents, as the daughter of a former Indian Ambassador, I’ve seen a remarkable array of historic places and met a myriad people. My aim is to bring my world view into this website, a curation of what I find particularly stunning, unique, and newsworthy.
It’s an exciting time for brands all over the world. With change comes opportunity. With the global ‘reset’ and uncertainty on many fronts, there is a chance to write a new script. Let’s be those pioneers.
