Perfect for the piste or those unforgettable apres-ski evenings, adidas and Beyoncé’s third collection in their ongoing adidas x IVY PARK collaborative partnership is entitled “ICY PARK”. It literally brings the streets to the slopes, infusing alpine-ready silhouettes with classic streetwear elements to deliver an array of apparel, footwear, and accessories that champion all forms of creative self-expression.

Expanding on the partnership’s collaborative mantra, “Where is My Park”, the collection comes with a multimedia campaign, playfully dubbed “ICY PARK”, that inspires creativity, individuality, and imagination. With a campaign that features a diverse number of collaborators, IVY PARK invites everyone to think outside the box. New faces featured include model Hailey Bieber, record label CEO and rapper Gucci Mane, singer Kaash Paige, and models Akesha Murray, Shi Gray, and Kyla Coleman, to celebrate freedom of expression.

Challenging our perception of what performance-focused design should be, and encouraging the wearer to turn their “park” (Beyoncé continually refers to one’s park – or one’s neighbourhood, or even state of mind) into a wonderland, the “ICY PARK” collection is icy cool, with its dynamic looks and silhouettes.

Effortlessly functional, continuously stylish, and always inclusive, the collection features bold apparel pieces matched with complimentary accessories. Making winter wear versatile, the “ICY PARK” apparel infuses alpine silhouettes with faux shearling and performance towel terry materials, adding texture, for the quintessential cozy apres-ski vibe. Meanwhile, bringing the collection’s evocative theme to life, select apparel and accessories boast a brand new IVY PARK monogram, while others sport a playful ski tag print.

Slick Booties

The “ICY PARK” collection also sees Beyoncé expand her repertoire of footwear with five new styles - including updates to the IVY PARK Ultra Boost, Forum Lo, Forum Mid, and Super Sleek sneakers. The collection also introduces the IVY PARK Super Sleek Boot, that’s high on comfort, with an enviable, cool design. With its rich textures and reflective details, the footwear reimagines mountain-ready style through the lens of Beyoncé’s distinct aesthetics.

Growing up on four continents, as the daughter of a former Indian Ambassador, I’ve seen a remarkable array of historic places and met a myriad people. My aim is to bring my world view into this website, a curation of what I find particularly stunning, unique, and newsworthy.

A bit about me:
A luxury and fashion journalist with 25 years of experience in publishing and magazine journalism, I have edited some of India’s top fashion and luxury magazines. I got my BA in Comparative Literature from UC Berkeley, and went on to receive my Master’s in English and French from the University of Strasbourg, France. I have also studied German and Film. I live in Gurugram, India, and look forward to once again exploring our world with a new-found freedom.
