A blend of soft hues and neutral tones, Ralph Lauren’s Fall ’21 collection explores the elegance of subtle contrasts, with an outdoorsy, Western theme.Ralph Lauren's Fall'21 collection with Santa Fe touches Ralph Lauren Fall'21
Fresh from his victory as official designer and outfitter for the US Olympic team at the Tokyo Olympics 2020, Ralph Lauren has made a subtle shift from the Roaring Twenties that embodied his Spring ’21 campaign. Always in tune with outdoorsy themes – his Pre-Fall ’21 collection captured a very safari-inspired leitmotif – he now turns his attention to the desert landscape of the great American states of Arizona, Nevada, and Santa Fe – with their history of cowboy culture and influences from Mexico.Ralph Lauren Fall'21 collection Ralph Lauren's Fall'21 collection with touches of plaid
The campaign features models Lily Aldridge and Joan Smalls – where they are seen wearing timeless Southwestern influenced pieces – and was shot in a country manor, with the two playing with their dog, and enjoying nature outdoors. From fringed jackets to printed cardigans – in a neutral colour palette of earthy hues of chocolate, cream, and black – the pieces in Fall’s 2021 collection embody elegance and go from day to night without missing a beat.Ralph Lauren's Fall'21, shimmery dress in neutral tones worn with a jacket Ralph Lauren's Fall'21 collection has touches of shearling
A subtle vintage inspiration occurs, when you look at the tailoring, which is sharp and modern. There are flashes of red, black, with chocolate and cream, with touches of shearling, mohair, fringes, plaid, and a few very pretty, wearable party dresses (paired with a warm plaid jacket of course).
It’s classic americana with a Southwestern flavour. Giddy up!Ralph Lauren_Fall'21 – accessories
Lifestyle Insider is a kind of junction point, connecting people with diverse interests that touch on the more luxurious aspects of lifestyle – fashion, design, travel, food and spirits, art, watches and jewellery, cars, yachts, and aviation, and technology. People today don’t fit into boxes and categories. In our individual ways, we are interested in diverse themes, products, and the challenges that face our world today. You will judge how well this effort of mine caters to your passions and proclivities.
Lifestyle Insider is a showcase of all that is beautiful and luxe. Behind every creation, is a designer, chef, entrepreneur, or a design maison. I have delved into my own appreciation for objetsde luxe that I have admired over the years – be it a love of fashion from the world’s top Parisian and Italian fashion maisons and their ’90s muses, or the care that goes into sari and Indian textile collections in my own family. Growing up on four continents, as the daughter of a former Indian Ambassador, I’ve seen a remarkable array of historic places and met a myriad people. My aim is to bring my world view into this website, a curation of what I find particularly stunning, unique, and newsworthy.
It’s an exciting time for brands all over the world. With change comes opportunity. With the global ‘reset’ and uncertainty on many fronts, there is a chance to write a new script. Let’s be those pioneers.
