Belvedere Pure vodka
The Pure Taste of Nature
This is for the woman who is a purist. This Polish vodka has been sustainable before the term became one of the most cult words of the 2020s. Made solely from organic, pesticide-free Polska rye, purified water, and a distillation process by fire, Belvedere vodka contains zero additives, is certified kosher, and is made as per the legal regulations of Polska vodka – that nothing extra may be added. Produced in one of the world’s longest operating Polish distilleries that has been making vodka since 1910, Belvedere’s Master Rye Distillers draw from a 600-year polish vodka-making history to artfully craft Polska rye into an extraordinary vodka of distinct taste and character. In fact, Poland has been the first country to give an appellation to vodka (much the same way France does to its wines, eg, Burgundy, Champagne), which literally means that nothing extra may be added to the vodka, ensuring its smooth taste. With its distinctive frosted glass bottle, and the beautiful Presidential Palace in Warsaw on the label, its vanilla and white pepper flavour is clean, creamy, and perfect drunk on the rocks or mixed in your favourite cocktail. Price: Delhi: INR 3,735; Mumbai: INR 6,176; Bangalore: INR 6,197.
Moët et Chandon Rose Imperial
La Vie en Rose
For the romantic, idealist woman, who looks at life through rose-coloured glasses, nothing expresses your sentiments for her more than a bottle of bubbly. A ‘radiant and spontaneous expression’ of its maison of origin, Moët et Chandon, the Rosé Impérial is a blend of the Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay, and is a beautiful bouquet of berries on the nose – strawberries, cherries, and raspberries, with a whiff of rose. It tastes of these fruits, with a bit of peach, and is best served in from a bucket filled with ice – as its name and colour says, it puts you in the pink of things! Price: Delhi: INR 8,680 (750ml).
Glenmorangie The Original
A Tradition of Complexity and Elegance
For the sophisticate, her potion of choice must reflect a love of heritage and history. A great pick is the Glenmorangie Original Single Malt Scotch Whisky, distilled in the tallest sills in Scotland, in a distillery located in Tain, one of the oldest ‘Royal’ burghs in Scotland, dating back to 1066, in the region of Easter Ross. Its rolling hills, natural spring water from the Tarlogie Springs and protected shoreline proved the perfect location for the brand’s founder William Matheson to start creating his whisky.
The Original is the expression of Glenmorangie’s elegant spirit, and the backbone of their range. It is distilled twice, creating an extremely pure, smooth, spirit with delicate layers of citrus and floral notes. Matured for 10 years exclusively in the very best ex-Bourbon American white oak casks, only using first- and second-fill casks, delivering a purer, smoother spirit with deep notes of peach and sweet vanilla. Then it is bottled when the spirit and casks are at the peak of maturity and flavour to deliver the perfect balance between sweetness and complexity.
On tasting, first, vanilla is detected on the tongue before it ripples along the palate bringing a burst of flowery fruitiness. Glenmorangie prides itself on having some of the best understanding of cask maturation in the business, and the Original reflect it in its smooth, incredible taste. A bottle, or a case, this expression of admiration will not be forgotten. And how should one have it? Over rocks, neat, with a dash of water, it’s entirely up to you! Price: Delhi: INR 6,800; Bangalore: INR 7,613; Mumbai: INR 7,426.

It just so happens that the Hennessy Very Special is one of the world’s most loved cognacs, born in the region of Cognac, France. A Piece of Art to Relish
For the artistic woman, who covets beauty and expression, here’s a world-class sparkling wine that’s made in India, that comes in a limited-edition gift box with art made by a Warli artist, a first in the history of sparkling wine, and gives you the chance to support local communities. Chandon India, launched in 2013 in the Nashik region of India produces premium quality sparkling wine in two variants – Brut and Rosé. To create awareness and revive a culturally inspired art form of the Warli Tribe, Chandon India in collaboration with Raah Foundation, has introduced the #SAVEWARLI programme by way of launching a Limited Edition Gift Box designed by a local Warli Artist.
Just like Chandon India, Warli also finds its home in Nashik, Maharashtra which houses the largest tribe found on the northern outskirts of Mumbai in Western India. The art form is a vivid expression of daily and social events like hunting, dancing, sowing and harvesting and was the only means of transmitting folklore to a populace not acquainted with the written word. Warli art can be recognized by the austere mud base used on white, with occasional dots in red and yellow.
Raah Foundation is an NGO that focuses on facilitating a better world for the underprivileged tribal communities of Maharashtra, and works with artisans to hone their intrinsic skill and provide market linkages to their niche bespoke handmade and hand-painted products through its affiliate Raah Creative Designs.
There are two Limited Edition Gift Boxes on offer – Limited Edition Gift Box with a stopper and Limited Edition Gift Box with a flute. The boxes have been designed by Warli artist Prakash Pithole from Jawhar, Palghar District of Maharashtra, who has 23 years of experience in this art form. Prakash learned the finer nuances of the motifs and artistic expressions of natural elements from his father and has constantly honed and refined his craft since then. With a mission to invigorate the art form through his own masterful strokes and by taking budding artists under his tutelage, he hopes to spread the love and respect for this ancient tribal art form.
The design of the gift box is inspired by one of Chandon’s values: ‘Everyone Is Welcome At Our Table’. The Chandon Warli Limited Edition Gift Box with a stopper makes for a perfect way to seal and store a bottle of Chandon, thus addressing the part consumption storage concern. The Chandon Warli Limited Edition Gift Box with the flute is a Chandon lover’s delight and is a collector’s edition. These limited-edition gift boxes are made from recycled paper, certified by FSC. Each gift box also contains a bookmark with details of the inspiration behind this collaboration. People today don’t fit into boxes and categories. In our individual ways, we are interested in diverse themes, products, and the challenges that face our world today. You will judge how well this effort of mine caters to your passions and proclivities.
Lifestyle Insider is a showcase of all that is beautiful and luxe. Behind every creation, is a designer, chef, entrepreneur, or a design maison. I have delved into my own appreciation for objetsde luxe that I have admired over the years – be it a love of fashion from the world’s top Parisian and Italian fashion maisons and their ’90s muses, or the care that goes into sari and Indian textile collections in my own family. Growing up on four continents, as the daughter of a former Indian Ambassador, I’ve seen a remarkable array of historic places and met a myriad people. My aim is to bring my world view into this website, a curation of what I find particularly stunning, unique, and newsworthy.
It’s an exciting time for brands all over the world. With change comes opportunity. With the global ‘reset’ and uncertainty on many fronts, there is a chance to write a new script. Let’s be those pioneers.
