The Iconic footwear label Steve Madden launches their first new concept store in DLF Promenade, Vasant Kunj New Delhi. Inspired by the Rock n Roll era then and now, the new store design resonates with modern New York vibe focusing on large spaces and natural elements that highlight its edgy and fashionable styles.
The design philosophy behind this concept store is a step towards a refined and modern setting.
Showcasing an overarching theme of New York downtown loft, the store displays elements like vertical brick walls, concrete wall finishes, wooden louvres and olive and tan distressed leather that are prevalent throughout the store. The Rock-n-Roll inspired fall winter collection is an approach towards a new movement in this new world, where we think and dress differently. The collection brings to life the spirit of 1970s rock culture with dark hues and metallic textures through fabric, leather and studs. The collection includes a cool range of sneakers, boots, sandals, accessories and more, for both men and women.

A luxury and fashion journalist with 25 years of experience in publishing and magazine journalism, I have edited some of India’s top fashion and luxury magazines. I got my BA in Comparative Literature from UC Berkeley, and went on to receive my Master’s in English and French from the University of Strasbourg, France. I have also studied German and Film.
