The Peekaboo in red leather with pink lining to symbolize the chrysanthemum, Fendi womenswear and Fendi jewellery for Fendi's 2021 special capsule collection for the Chinese New Year
Symbolizing good fortune and joy in this special time of the year, the common thread of this capsule is the red colour, combined for the occasion with sophisticated pink hues and flowers from the Chinese tradition. With an auspicious meaning for the Chinese New Year, the chrysanthemum represents longevity, whilst the peony is a symbol of prosperity, beauty, and honour. Considered the most symbolic flower of all, each petal of the bright pink plum blossoms stands for one of the five blessings: happiness, good fortune, longevity, success, and harmony. These flowers dear to the Chinese are combined for the occasion with the Maison’s iconic FF logo details and patterns, injecting a festive atmosphere whilst completing the elegant festival look with a Fendi twist.

For the Women’s Collection, the Maison’s icons are infused with romance and elegance in all their variants.
The Peekaboo family – including a practical Peek-a-phone smartphone pouch – is crafted in red leather with surprising pink linings for a real Peekaboo effect: a bright pink colour-contrasting pocket for the ISeeU and a pink canvas with a multicolour FF logo embroidery for the Iconic Mini.
The multicolour FF logo embroidery in pink and red appears on the Baguette in this special Chinese New Year collection by Fendi
The same embroidery peppers the Baguette in its Regular, Mini and Nano sizes, the latter also available in a multicolour floral print in satin, and an adjustable Strap You. An exquisite red micro beaded embroidery with pink and gold fringes and enamelled floral details defines the tiny Pico Baguette, which is also available in a China-exclusive variant in multicolour floral printed satin with red and gold fringes and ox horn and flower details on the buckle.
The floral pattern steals the spotlight in the selection of charming textiles – a foulard, a wrappy, a cover mask and its pouch and several hair accessories, all crafted in silk and portraying a circular moon in honour of the Chinese lunar calendar – and fashion jewellery pieces, including earrings, an ear cuff, a ring, and a bracelet with a red strap.
Adding a precious touch to the collection, the signature Forever Fendi watch is embellished with a genuine pink mother-of-pearl dial with diamond hour-makers that dazzle on a 29 mm stainless steel or 19 mm and 29 mm rose-gold stainless steel case, further enriched by a bezel set with 62 diamonds.
For women, it's ready to wear knitwear with the FF logo, ring, earrings and bracelet, a Baguette with the red and pink FF logo, and for men, it's black and red, mid top sneakers and a backpack - by Fendi for 2021 Chinese New Year
A range of ready-to-wear pieces in printed twill, jersey and knitwear, all characterized by the red and pink hues, FF logo details and patterns of the collection, completes the Women’s offer.

Lifestyle Insider is a kind of junction point, connecting people with diverse interests that touch on the more luxurious aspects of lifestyle – fashion, design, travel, food and spirits, art, watches and jewellery, cars, yachts, and aviation, and technology. People today don’t fit into boxes and categories. In our individual ways, we are interested in diverse themes, products, and the challenges that face our world today. You will judge how well this effort of mine caters to your passions and proclivities.
Lifestyle Insider is a showcase of all that is beautiful and luxe. Behind every creation, is a designer, chef, entrepreneur, or a design maison. I have delved into my own appreciation for objetsde luxe that I have admired over the years – be it a love of fashion from the world’s top Parisian and Italian fashion maisons and their ’90s muses, or the care that goes into sari and Indian textile collections in my own family. Growing up on four continents, as the daughter of a former Indian Ambassador, I’ve seen a remarkable array of historic places and met a myriad people. My aim is to bring my world view into this website, a curation of what I find particularly stunning, unique, and newsworthy.
It’s an exciting time for brands all over the world. With change comes opportunity. With the global ‘reset’ and uncertainty on many fronts, there is a chance to write a new script. Let’s be those pioneers.
