Ayurveda for your Hair

An all new sulphate- and paraben-free hair cleanser by Kama Ayurveda packed with the goodness of traditional herbs and berries, reduces hair fall and makes it stronger.

Bringadi Hair Cleanser by Kama Ayurveda

On the heels of its award-winning Bringadi Intensive Treatment Hair Oil, Kama Ayurveda has launched the Bringadi Hair Cleanser for all hair types (including coloured hair), and is clinically proven to reduce hair fall by 60 percent, making hair six times stronger and five times more voluminous.

The launch also marks the very first time that the brand is presenting a new product supported by extensive clinical trials pre-launch. The Bringadi Hair Cleanser reinforces Kama Ayurveda’s mission to offer age-old Ayurvedic solutions, to address contemporary beauty and wellbeing concerns.

“When we founded Kama Ayurveda in 2002, our goal was to catalyse modern Beauty with the centuries-old principles of Ayurveda,” says Vivek Sahni, CEO and Co-Founder, Kama Ayurveda. “With each passing year, we find that the relevance of Ayurveda is all-pervasive. Our constant guide is the fact that Beauty is a function of the balance of the mind, body and soul, which are the pillars that support our philosophy. The extension of our Bringadi range, and the launch of the Bringadi Hair Cleanser is yet another step in giving form to this thought. This is the power of Ayurveda.”

From pollution to stressful lifestyles, shine, texture and strength of hair is usually the first indicator of one’s body’s reaction to external factors. The Bringadi Hair Cleanser was formulated in response to client feedback accumulated by Kama Ayurveda’s in-store and online beauty consultants. After extensive research and development, Kama Ayurveda Bringadi’s Hair Cleanser was born.

The Magic of Bhringraj and Amla

Bhringraj is the wonder herb of Ayurveda, and is also called Kesha Raja, for its hair revitalizing properties. It also contains amla or Indian gooseberry – an Ayurvedic elixir for skin and hair that’s used for a variety of beauty treatments. Bhringraj promotes hair growth, reduces greying and balding and makes the hair darker. It also keeps the hair shiny and healthy.

Amla treats dandruff, strengthens hair, and promotes hair growth while clearing the build-up of impurities from the scalp and reducing itchiness. The nutrients present in Amla penetrate the follicles, making the hair softer, shinier, and voluminous. A natural hair and scalp conditioner, softens and smooths the hair cuticle making it less prone to breakage.

Lifestyle Insider is a kind of junction point, connecting people with diverse interests that touch on the more luxurious aspects of lifestyle – fashion, design, travel, food and spirits, art, watches and jewellery, cars, yachts, and aviation, and technology. People today don’t fit into boxes and categories. In our individual ways, we are interested in diverse themes, products, and the challenges that face our world today. You will judge how well this effort of mine caters to your passions and proclivities.

Lifestyle Insider is a showcase of all that is beautiful and luxe. Behind every creation, is a designer, chef, entrepreneur, or a design maison. I have delved into my own appreciation for objetsde luxe that I have admired over the years – be it a love of fashion from the world’s top Parisian and Italian fashion maisons and their ’90s muses, or the care that goes into sari and Indian textile collections in my own family. Growing up on four continents, as the daughter of a former Indian Ambassador, I’ve seen a remarkable array of historic places and met a myriad people. My aim is to bring my world view into this website, a curation of what I find particularly stunning, unique, and newsworthy.

It’s an exciting time for brands all over the world. With change comes opportunity. With the global ‘reset’ and uncertainty on many fronts, there is a chance to write a new script. Let’s be those pioneers.

A bit about me:

I got my BA in Comparative Literature from UC Berkeley, and went on to receive my Master’s in English and French from the University of Strasbourg, France. I have also studied German and Film. I live in Gurugram, India, and look forward to once again exploring our world with a new-found freedom.
